UNBOUND216 is a faith-based transitional care ministry designed to prepare inmates for release by helping them discover their God-given purpose. Our ministerial purpose is accomplished through:
a) Bible-based, Christ-centered, long-term (forty-six [46] weeks inside phase and one [1] year outside phase), intensive, discipleship program;
b) Structured residential programming conducive for large/small group instruction, one-on-one mentoring, and prosocial community participation;
c) “Believing God’s Future is Greater Than Our Past”, developing “Responsibility, Accountability, and Authority”, with aim of “Breaking the Back of Recidivism in Our State and Our Nation”;
d) Providing transitional housing and support services including, but not limited to, case management, job training, and placement services as well as Biblical discipleship through volunteer mentors; and
e) Providing the resources and structure necessary to become productive citizens by reintegrating themselves into the community without reverting to self-destructive patterns of behavior.
