On The Way Home (OTWH) is more than just a reentry program - it’s a community. Founded on the belief that every returning citizen deserves dignity, stability, and a fresh start, OTWH was created in response to the overwhelming gaps in support for individuals reentering society after incarceration.
We saw firsthand how hard it was to find effective reentry housing and coordinated services in one place. So we built a solution: a centralized, supportive community where people can access the tools they need - under one roof - to truly rebuild their lives.
Our mission is to aid in reintegrating former incarcerated citizens into the community, reduce recidivism, and improve public safety through addressing the educational, employment, parole and probation, benefits, healthcare, housing, and family relationship needs of prisoners reentering society. We intend to accomplish this by providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment while they transition from prison to freedom. Our vision is to make lasting and effective impacts on our residents in an effort to lower recidivism, unemployment, and homelessness commonly seen in those who have been incarcerated.
