A delivery driver volunteers to deliver food boxes or emergency ready to heat meals to “high risk” families and individuals.
“High risk” means the food recipient is home bound, for any number of reasons, and unable to secure the food they need.
Volunteers assist in these ways:
- Picking up food boxes and delivering to assigned addresses
- Picking up emergency meals and delivering to assigned addresses
- Encouraging the person who receives the food through a phone call or text
Food Box Delivery Drivers serves the following groups and needs.
